FORGE TRIBE COMMUNITY PRIVACY POLICY (Skool-Hosted)

Effective Date: January 1st, 2026
Last Updated: January 7th, 2026
Community: FORGE TRIBE on Skool (the “Community”)
Community Admin/Provider: Emberstone Ridge, LLC (“FORGE TRIBE,” “we,” “us,” “our”)

How this Notice works with Skool’s Privacy Policy

FORGE TRIBE is hosted on the Skool platform. Skool’s Privacy Policy explains how Skool collects, uses, shares, and secures data when you use Skool’s websites and services (“Skool Services”). Skool’s Privacy Policy is incorporated by reference for Skool’s processing activities.

This FORGE TRIBE Community Privacy Notice (“Community Privacy Notice”) explains FORGE TRIBE’s privacy practices for Community-specific activities—what we do as the Community admin/provider (for example, providing devotionals, challenges, moderation, and member engagement).

Key point:

  • Skool processes data to operate the Skool platform (accounts, login, device/usage, payments, platform features) under Skool’s Privacy Policy.

  • FORGE TRIBE processes certain data to operate the Community (content, moderation, member support, and Community communications) under this Community Privacy Notice.

If there is a conflict about Skool’s handling of platform data, Skool’s Privacy Policy controls for those activities. For FORGE TRIBE’s Community operations, this Notice controls.

1) What information we process as the Community admin

Because the Community runs inside Skool, most member data is collected directly by Skool. As the Community admin, we may access and process the following categories of information within the Skool environment (and sometimes outside it if you contact us directly):

A. Account and membership information

  • Display name, username, profile image (if provided)

  • Email address (as made available to admins via Skool)

  • Membership status (active/inactive), join date, participation metrics

B. Community content and activity

  • Posts, comments, reactions, and content you upload inside the Community

  • Messages you send to admins (if any)

  • Participation in challenges, check-ins, or prompts

C. Support and communications

  • Information you provide when you contact us for help (e.g., membership questions, content questions, complaints)

  • Moderation or safety reports submitted to us

D. Sensitive information you choose to share

Men’s spiritual formation often involves personal disclosures (e.g., marriage struggles, addiction, mental health, trauma, prayer requests). If you share sensitive information in posts, comments, or messages, we can see it. Please share with discretion.

We do not require sensitive disclosures to participate.

2) What we do not control (Skool-controlled data)

Skool controls and processes certain data under its own Privacy Policy, including (typically):

  • Platform login credentials and account creation

  • Device/usage data, cookies, analytics

  • Payment processing and billing mechanics through Skool’s subscription system (and its payment providers)

  • Skool’s overall platform security and infrastructure

For details, review Skool’s Privacy Policy (you pasted above) and contact Skool at help@skool.com for Skool-controlled issues.

3) How we use Community data

We use Community information to:

  1. Provide the Community experience

    • deliver devotionals and CRUCIBLE content

    • operate challenges, prompts, and group engagement

  2. Moderate and protect the Community

    • enforce Community Guidelines and Terms

    • investigate reports and prevent abuse, harassment, spam, or illegal activity

  3. Respond to you

    • address questions, disputes, membership issues, or content concerns

  4. Improve content and operations

    • understand what’s working and improve programming and member experience

  5. Comply with legal obligations and protect safety

    • respond to lawful requests

    • address credible safety threats (self-harm, violence, exploitation, abuse)

4) When we share Community data

We do not sell member personal data.

We may share information in the following limited circumstances:

A. With Skool (platform operations)

Because the Community runs on Skool, your Community activity is inherently processed/stored by Skool and its vendors to provide platform functionality.

B. With service providers we use (if any)

If we use external tools (e.g., email support desk, file hosting, analytics for content outside Skool), we may share limited information necessary to operate the Community. We aim to use reputable vendors and share only what’s needed.

C. For safety, legal compliance, and enforcement

We may disclose information if we believe in good faith it is necessary to:

  • comply with law, subpoena, or lawful request

  • investigate fraud, security issues, or policy violations

  • protect the rights, safety, and security of members, the public, or the Community

  • respond to credible threats of harm

Important: Online communities are not confidential counseling settings. We cannot guarantee that content shared in the Community will remain private.

5) Confidentiality expectations (and limits)

We encourage members to treat others’ disclosures with respect and confidentiality. However:

  • posts and messages are shared within Skool’s systems,

  • admins/moderators may review content for safety/moderation, and

  • technical or legal circumstances can require access or disclosure.

If you want private pastoral/clinical support, seek qualified in-person resources.

6) Data retention

We retain Community-related information:

  • as long as necessary to operate the Community,

  • to maintain security and moderation records,

  • to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce Terms.

If you leave the Community, some content (e.g., posts and comments) may remain visible to others unless deleted, subject to Skool’s functionality and retention rules.

7) Your privacy choices and rights (practical process)

Because the Community is hosted on Skool, privacy requests fall into two buckets:

A. Requests about your Skool account, platform data, billing data, device/usage data

These are typically handled by Skool.
Contact Skool: help@skool.com

B. Requests about FORGE TRIBE admin decisions (moderation actions, Community records, admin communications)

Contact FORGE TRIBE at: info@forgetribe.me

Common requests we can help with (to the extent Skool tools allow)

  • correcting Community-facing profile information (often done by you in Skool)

  • removing or editing your posts (may require you to delete; we may assist where possible)

  • deleting admin-side copies of support emails/messages (if we keep any outside Skool)

Verification: We may need to verify your identity before acting on requests.

8) Children / minors

FORGE TRIBE is intended for adults (18+). We do not knowingly invite or permit minors in the Community. If we learn a minor has joined, we will take steps to remove access.

9) Security

We take reasonable steps to protect Community operations (admin access controls, limiting who has moderator privileges, good password hygiene). However, we cannot guarantee the security of information shared online. Skool’s security practices are described in Skool’s Privacy Policy.

10) Changes to this Notice

We may update this Community Privacy Notice from time to time. If changes are material, we will post a notice in the Community. Continued participation after the effective date means you accept the updated version.
